I have been interested in wildlife for as long as I can remember, but especially in snakes. Ever since my young teenage years, I have caught and kept a variety of snakes, much to the dismay of my Mom! I finally convinced her to let me have snakes in the house, and I haven’t looked back since. I have kept everything from corn snakes, kingsnakes, and huge rat snakes, to leopard geckos and bearded dragons. However, my greatest fascination has always been with pythons, and I always wanted to have some of them in my collection. I began to develop a desire, not just to keep these awesome animals, but also to breed them. Although I knew that I wanted to breed pythons, I wasn’t sure where I should begin. This indecision didn’t last long, though. After seeing the huge variety of colour and pattern variation in Ball Pythons, and the incredible beauty of some of the morphs, I knew that they were what I wanted to work with. Ball Pythons are currently the only snakes that I breed.
One of my other main interests is playing the guitar, a past time that I find to be extremely enjoyable and relaxing. I have written several original songs, and I have also performed in a benefit concert to support a friend who went on a missions trip to the Dominican Republic.
This section would not be complete without saying how grateful I am to God for bringing me to where I am. All that I do and all that I am is because of His grace in my life. He has brought me from darkness into light, from death into life, and has brought me into the kingdom of His beloved Son. There is no greater satisfaction and no greater privilege than to have a personal relationship with the Almighty God through Jesus Christ. I hope and pray that you come to know this awesome God as I have.
~Daniel
